Currently there is no one distributing the Lance and Tom’s brands of snacks and candies into St. Thomas, St. Croix USVI.  Lance is America’s #1 Sandwich Cracker Company based in Charlotte, N.C.  Tom’s Foods was purchased by Lance 2.5 years ago with predominantly chip snacks.  BNR Global is the master distributor for Lance and Tom’s in the Caribbean.  Applications are now being accepted.

Sales Contest for Lance/Tom’s Distributors

BNR Global will award Metal Display units to 2 distributors to reward their sales efforts. These attractive, sturdy steel units are ideal merchandising aids.

The Rules are Simple: 1.) All entrants must have had any combination of Lance, Tom’s or Don Pablo’s products shipped to them from January 1, 2008 thru February 29, 2008. The total value of the shipments during this period will be the basis for comparison. 2.) The total value of shipments made during the period from April 1, 2008 thru May 31, 2008 will determine the winners. One winner will be selected based on increase in dollar volume. The distributor with the greatest increase wil be awarded two metal display units. A second winner will be awarded one display unit based upon percentage increase in rate of sales. A single distributor may not win in both categories. Winners will be announced on June 5, 1008. Their awards will be shipped with their next orders.

Point of Sale Marketing Contest

BNR Global wants its importers/distributors to be successful and encourages them to develop their own local point of sale marketing aids (like shelf-talkers, etc.).  We also believe that the sharing of marketing ideas will benefit all of our distributors.  Our distributor in Curacao has already developed its own Lance shelf talker. We have decided to sponsor a contest with a $US100.00 cash award to the distributor who submits the best point of sale marketing aid for Lance products.  The contest will run through June 10th.  The winner will be announced on June 16th.  All entries will be shared with all current Lance distributors.

Pricing Guns on Ebay

Pre-priced packaging on bags from the USA including candies and chips are often a problem in countries where there is a different currency and pricing.  Having USA pricing exposed on the bag often creates a problem for the consumer in purchasing. 

Pricing Guns are often sold on Ebay (new and used) at huge discounts via auction and Ebay stores.  For example, today I noticed a great deal on: PAXAR MONARCH 1131 PRICE GUN PRICING LABELER NEW IN BOX which is Ebay Item number: 290215445925.  Current bid is only $12.50 with $8.00 shipping cost. 

Sometimes the pricing gun you find on Ebay does not have the exact label dimensions you need.  I have found that the Ebay pricing gun sellers can often direct me to the place I need.  Or I just keep looking.

BNR Global is available to purchase pricing guns on Ebay for overseas customers.  BNR Global will bid for overseas customers given an item number and max. bid.  Once consumated, the item will be shipped direct to freight forwarder of customer and billed to customer with current or upcoming order (must be current BNR Global customer).

Tom’s Bugles are most Popular

Tom’s Bugles are the favorites among islanders in the Caribbean for the new Tom’s export line supported and owned by Lance, Inc.  Typically Lance and Tom’s are shipped together to most markets.  Have you tried the Tom’s Nacho Cheese Bugles?  They are delicious.  Of course the entire line is great and at a good price.

Honeybuns from USA easy to export

I just found out that the Duchess Honeybuns from BNR Global are easy to purchase if you buy at least 1 x 20 FCL load at a time.  Worried about dating when you receive them?  Don’t worry.  Just flash freeze them all and then thaw them out as you need them in the market.  Since they will have no dating on them when you purchase them, you can place a 30 day sticker or stamp on them after they thaw.
